Geriatric Social Worker
Required for Wendat Community Programs – Salary range $45,919 – $51,021/year
Full Time, Permanent

This position requires a BSW with 3-5 years experience working with seniors.  Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers required. This Social Worker will provide mobile social work services to seniors and their families/caregivers in community settings across North Simcoe and Muskoka. Good clinical counselling skills with a sound knowledge of issues of aging, mental illness, family dynamics, services for seniors and community resources.  This regional program requires travel across North Simcoe-Muskoka. Proficiency in both official languages is an asset.

Part Time Casual Crisis Workers Needed
Salary range: $22.64 – $ 24.05/hour

Crisis Services operates 9 am to 9 pm Monday to Friday and 9 am to 5 pm weekends and holidays. The primary duty of this job is to work in the hospital Emergency Room conducting risk and mental status assessments of youth and adults who present with a mental health crisis. Part time casual Crisis Workers are needed to work weekends, holidays, weekdays and evenings.  Good knowledge of local community mental health resources required.  Must be an RN, RPN, social worker, social services worker or psychotherapist registered with their respective professional College. Proficiency in both official languages an asset.
